Description: Discover the Mystic Yangtze & Tibet including all shore excursions along the river and additional sightseeing cities throughout China. Day 1: Los Angeles-Beijing Depart from Los Angeles on the overnight flight to Beijing by Air China. Day 2: Arrive in Beijing (B/L/D) Arrive at Beijing Int'l Airport in the evening. you will be met by your tour guide and transferred to the Beijing Oriental Culture Hotel. Day 3: Beijing - Yichang (B/L/D) Take a morning flight to Yichang, a medium sized city in the middle of the Yangtze River, followed by a city tour and a visit to the great Gezhou Ba Dam. In the evening, board the 5-star cruise ship "East Queen". Itinerary for the day is as follows: 15:30 -Depart Yichang 17:00 -Arrive Yangjiawan 17:30 -Shore excursion to the famous Three Gorges Dam project 22:30 -Depart Yangjiawan Pier 22:30-02:30 Pass the ship locks of the Three Gorges Dam Day 4: Cruising (B/L/D) Shore excursion to Shennong Stream in addition to passing the spectacular Xiling Gorge, Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Day 5: Cruising (B/L/D) Shore excursion to Shibaozhai Day 6: Chongqing (B/L/D) Ship arrives in Chongqing in the morning. Enjoy a mountain-city tour, including the Zoo with adorable baby pandas. Take a 3-hr. bus trip to Chengdu, the home of the Giant Panda and the gateway to Tibet. Stay at the 4-star Anguo Hotel. Day 7: Chengdu - Lhasa (B/L/D) Arrive in Lhasa in the evening. Take a rest in your hotel to adjust to the high altitude and the magnificent grandeur of the Himalayas. Day 8: Lhasa (B/L/D) Tour Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkor Street. Day 9: Lhasa (B/L/D) Tour Derpung Lamasery, Sera Lamasery, Yamdrok, Yumtso Lake and Tibet Musuem. Day 10: Lhasa-Xi'an (B/L/D) Enjoy the free time in the morning at this "Back Bone of the World". Take an evening flight to Xi'an. Stay in JianGuo Hotel. Day 11: Xi'an (B/L/D) Enjoy a full day of touring. Sights included: Terra-Cotta Warriors Museum, Hua Qing Hot Spring and Banpo Neolithic Village. An optional Tang Dynasty Dinner Show is available. Day 12: Xi'an-Shanghai (B/L/D) Take a morning flight to Shanghai, then a major tour through this wonderful world-class metropolitan city. You will stay at the Holiday Inn, downtown Shanghai, Great Wall Tower.
