Description: Beijing/ Shanghai/ Suzhou ( 8 days) Day 1- SAN FRANCISCO-BEIJING// CA986 SFO/PEK 155P-555P+1 Fly with Air China to Beijing, the capital of China. Day 2- Beijing The representative of the Omega Global Travel Beijing office welcomes you to the city of the emperors and escorts you to the Presidential State Guest Hotel or similar. Day 3- Beijing (B/L/D) After breakfast, visit the Tiananmen Square then enter the imperial-red walls of the ornate Forbidden City, the emperors' palace off-limits to commoners for centuries. Think of the processions of incense-bearing priests at the Temple of Heaven, where the emperor went to humble himself in prayer to guarantee the realm's good harvests.. Day 4- Beijing (B/L/D) Enjoy your full-day excursion to the ancient Great Wall, originally built as protection from the Huns and other tribes and never completely fulfilling its purpose. Continue from the Wall to the famous Ming Tombs, with their white marble archway and thrones and Sacred Way lined with ghostly animal sculptures. Attend a welcome banquet featuring Peking Roast Duck in the evening. Day 5- Beijing- Shanghai (B/L/D) After breakfast, visit the Summer Palace. Lunch in the city. Transfer your flight to Shanghai in the afternoon. Overnight at Holiday Inn Downtown Shanghai or similar.. Day 6- SHANGHAI -SUZHOU-SHANGHAI (B/L/D) After breakfast, start your one day city tour to Suzhou, visiting the Garden of the Humble Administrator , Han Shan Temple, and the Tiger Hill. Return to Shanghai in the evening.. Day 7- Shanghai (B/L/D) The sights and contrasts of China's most vibrant city fill your day. Stroll the riverfront Bund with its European-style buildings; retreat to the green oasis of the 500-year-old Yu Yuan Gardens; meet local school kids at the Children's Palace after-school program; and gain new appreciation for Chinese art at the magnificent new Shanghai Museum. Return to your hotel to prepare for tonight's thrilling show of the Shanghai Acrobats. Day 8- SHANGHAI-SAN FRANCISCO (B/L) // CA985 PVG/SFO 515P-1155A Breakfast at hotel, visit the Old Street of Shanghai. Lunch at local restaurant, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
